Miah Akiful Haque, the dynamic General Secretary of the Public Health Promotion & Development Society (PPDS), Dhaka, Bangladesh, is a dedicated and accomplished professional with a Master of Public Health degree from North South University, Dhaka. Complementing his public health background, Akiful holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from East West University. Currently serving as a Senior Medical Documentation Specialist at Augmedix Bangladesh since 2018, Akiful showcases his commitment to healthcare by navigating electronic health records (EHR), assisting primary care doctors, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient records. His role includes completing HIPAA training courses, emphasizing his dedication to maintaining the highest standards of healthcare data confidentiality. As the General Secretary of PPDS, Miah plays a pivotal role in driving the organization’s mission to promote public health and development in Dhaka. His leadership skills are evidenced by his active involvement in organizing and coordinating various public health initiatives and activities. Miah is not only an adept professional but also a prolific researcher with two years of experience in public health research.
