Dr. Mohammad Ashraful Amin is pursuing his M.Sc. in clinical trial studies at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, where he was granted this opportunity through the Commonwealth Distance Learning Master’s Scholarships. Previously he completed medical professional MBBS degree at the Jahurul Islam Medical College & Hospital, Bangladesh. Subsequently, he pursued a master’s degree in public health (MPH) with a specialization in epidemiology. His work focuses on infectious diseases, vaccine research, clinical trials, and public health initiatives taking place in the region. He is currently employed at icddr,b, where he has made significant contributions to research on cholera, Shigella, ETEC, COVID-19, and vaccines, all of which have contributed to the advancement of public health. His achievements include publishing more than 50 scientific articles in reputed journals and reviewing around 120 scientific articles.
