Dr. Kazi Farhana Matin

Dr. Kazi Farhana Matin is a seasoned professional in the field of education development and public health, currently serving as a Curriculum Developer at the BRAC Institute of Educational Development. With a dedicated career spanning over two years in this institution, she has demonstrated her expertise in curriculum design and development, emphasizing skills such as learning facilitation, time management, and effective training delivery.
In her role as a Staff Researcher, Dr. Farhana conducted valuable research contributing to the field of education development. Her proficiency extends to areas such as relationship building, client rapport, field supervision, and teamwork, all crucial elements in producing impactful research outcomes.
Prior to her current role, Dr. Farhana served as a Research Assistant for over a year at BRAC Institute of Educational Development. Her responsibilities included learning facilitation and time management, reflecting her commitment to academic excellence.
Dr. Farhana holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Epidemiology (Major) from North South University, where she achieved an impressive grade point average of 3.86. During her academic journey, she actively participated in the Public Health professional society (PPDS), showcasing her dedication to advancing public health initiatives.
Her academic foundation includes a Bachelors of Dental Surgery (BDS) in Dentistry from Bangladesh Dental College, where she not only excelled in her studies but also honed skills in dental care, restoration, patient counseling, chamber management, and effective time management.
Dr. Farhana’s diverse skill set extends beyond her educational background, encompassing proficiency in IBM SPSS, pharmaceutical sales, hospitality management, Microsoft Office tools, and online research. Her ability to navigate various domains is a testament to her adaptability and continuous pursuit of knowledge.
With a strong research background, Dr. Farhana has contributed significantly to publications such as “Perceptions about Telemedicine among Populations with Chronic Diseases amid COVID-19,” “COVID-19 vaccine acceptance in South Asia: a multi-country study,” and “Quality of life of COVID-19 recovered patients in Bangladesh.” These publications highlight her commitment to addressing pressing public health issues.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Dr. Farhana briefly served as an Executive Officer at Rely Foods, showcasing her versatility and ability to excel in different organizational settings.
