PPDS at 5: Celebrating A Milestone of Growth & Impact

On September 2025, the Public Health Promotion and Development Society (PPDS) proudly celebrated its 5th Anniversary with a vibrant and inspiring gathering at Jiyon Boutique Resort, Savar.

What began as a small initiative during the COVID-19 crisis in 2020 has now evolved into a global platform of 150 members working across research, policy, and innovation in public health. Over the past five years, PPDS has contributed to 80+ scientific publications, implemented 70+ projects, and expanded its footprint across Bangladesh, Australia, USA, UK, and Europe.

Event Highlights

The celebration was marked by a dynamic program of activities, blending reflection, recognition, and forward-looking discussions:
• Annual General Meeting (AGM) – engaging members in strategic reflections and planning.
• Presenting the PPDS Journey – tracing our growth and impact from inception to the present.
• Group Workshops – fostering collaboration and generating new ideas for public health impact.
• Prize Distribution & Raffle Draws – recognizing contributions and engaging participants in a spirit of joy and celebration.
