Dr M Rashidul Bari

Dr M Rashidul Bari is a dedicated public health professional with a strong background in medicine and public health. He holds an MBBS degree and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the Department of Public Health at North South University. Over the past four years, Dr. Bari has built extensive experience in immunization, disease surveillance, and health program management.

Currently, he serves as a Surveillance and Immunization Medical Officer at the World Health Organization (WHO), where he contributes to strengthening routine immunization programs, supporting outbreak response, and ensuring effective monitoring of vaccine-preventable diseases. His role involves close collaboration with government health departments and partner organizations to improve public health outcomes at both local and national levels.

Beyond his professional commitments, Dr. Bari serves as the General Secretary of the Public Health Promotion and Development Society (PPDS), where he leads community-based health initiatives and capacity-building programs. His passion lies in advancing equitable healthcare access, strengthening immunization systems, and promoting evidence-based public health practices.

With proven expertise in program implementation, data-driven decision-making, and health communication, Dr. Bari continues to play an impactful role in improving public health in Bangladesh and beyond. He aspires to further his career in international organizations, focusing on global health security, immunization, and health systems strengthening.
